    Things to do in Oxford whilst staying at Remont Hotel Oxford

    There’s so much to do during a visit to Oxford that there is no need to ever be bored or short of somewhere to go.

    When you stay at Remont Hotel Oxford you can, for example, take a tour of Oxford’s many television and film locations. Parts of Harry Potter films have been filmed in the city as well as The Golden Compass and James Bond. Inspector Morse was also filmed in this world famous city. The top of Carfax Tower is a great place to take in the views of Oxford. The tower, within the 14th century church of St Martin, has 99 steps that you can climb up. Other good views of the city can be enjoyed from the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, in the High Street, and St Michael Northgate, in Cornmarket. There are a large number and variety of tours on offer in Oxford, from ghost tours to family tours and from Harry Potter themed tours to a stained glass tour.

    Remont Hotel Oxford is situated in the North of Oxford, an area that has wide tree-lined roads and large Gothic-style period houses that were built in the 19th Century to house wealthy tradesmen and college dons.
